I bought a Asus Prime z270-ar and I also have a i5 7500, which is listed as compatible. I have ddr4 ram 2x8gb 3000mhgz and 2 gtx 1080. A 750w power supply. The problem I am having is that I am getting NO POST, NO BEEP CODES, NO DISPLAY, NO ERROR LIGHTS, everything else works fine, gpu's work fine, CPU water cooler works fine, the motherboard displays the lights. I have double checked all of my connections and all are good, ram is seated in correctly, tried endless amounts of variations and even without, still no beep codes. Had a look at CPU and all is good nothing is wrong there, all pins and everything fit and alone perfectly. Removed 1 and then 2 gpu's to nothing, I forgot to mention I do have a 2tb hdd and 250gb ssd which is all hooked up correctly. I have even had to source out a speaker from one of my old computers and plugged that in the motherboard and still nothing not even from that speaker. No beeps when turning on no sounds at all. Only thing I can think of is that the motherboard is completely brain dead. I have taken it out of the case and tried all that and it didn't get shorted out or anything like that. Tried just the motherboard psu, CPU and ram, and once again nothing. I really need your help in problem solving as I have built many pc's in the past and this is the worst problem yet. Thanks in advance.

I will try this when I get home but just don't see how if the board isn't faulty that it wouldn't give any error codes. But thanks for the response, will try when I get home from work.
