Does adding a LOT of Fonts slow your pc down

I am using Adobe suite and I want to add a lot of FONTS so that I can use it for making graphics. My question is does adding a LOT of Fonts slow down the PC or the program and if so should I delete Fonts I don't use i.e. a lot of font that came with the PC? Thank you in advance for your time....

In essence, no it shouldn't slow down the system. you should copy your font files and paste them in the Fonts folder located within Control Panel.
i.e: Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Fonts

Can you be specific about which version of Adobe's Suite you're using? Often previewing the fonts will require high amounts of ram and a good GPU.
