I recently brought the
DEEPCOOL RGB Water Cooler Liquid Cooling, RGB Lighting, Aio Cooling, 120mm Fan, Captain 120EX RGB

I'm not sure if it is cooling my I7 7700k properly. I have it plugged into the AIO pump and H_AMP pin.
Has anyone used this Water cooler before? My CPU is still hitting over 80C

I have one like this but mine has the red coolant in it. It works well for me, however, did you add thermal paste and is it seated properly on the CPU?

I have used Thermal paste yes, it came with it already on the base plate but I added a little more because I accidently rubbed some off
the pump is in the AIO_pump and the fan that comes with it is plugged in the H_AMP _Fan

The thermal paste was pre-installed but I added a little more because I rubbed some off accidently and yes it is seated properly

Does your pump have the switches that you can control the speed, and I also see that it has the software to control this as well. I would hate to say possibly you need to upgrade to the Captain 240, I am not sure the price of this.

Sadly not, the switches are for the RGB on the water block and I do not think my case can hold the Captain 240

It tends to happen if I'm running Rainbow Six Siege for over an hour but that could be because I have the HD texture pack installed
