Hello I am looking for a upgrade I currently have
I5 7400 Cpu 3.0ghz
GTX1060 3GB asus
8gb DDR4 2133mhz
240 Gb kingston uv400
1tb wd and
cx600 corsair power supply

so..I need a upgrade because I am starting a new Channel And I can barley record with my cpu and gpu with getting frames at 40 medium on pubg and other heavy cpu games,I was thinking the ryzen 5 1600 or i7 7700 but which should I get I want to record at 1080p at least 40 or 50fps at highish graphics and for recording I have two channels one new and other kinda old so I need one for able to handle recording games and getting good quality gameplay,and looking to stream in the future also my motherboard is the h110mh,this is good cause i have the latest bios so I can get the i7 7th and 6th generation without wasting money on the motherboard but I do want the gtx 1070 strix should I wait for the GTX 1070 and get a better cpu meanwhile I sell my GPU?

For gaming, 7700k will be better. For streaming/recording/editing, the Ryzen will be better. The 8700k is the best middle ground. In general I would take the Ryzen if you're limited by budget.

You will not be able to reach 60 fps high settings while recording on PUBG, at least not without an absolute abomination of a PC. It's so poorly optimized that only the beefiest of systems can handle it reliably.

Overclocking will give you moderate performance upgrades (5-10% increase) depending on how far you overclock. You'll need a decent cooling to do that, and I actually don't recommend doing it with your power supply. CX series PSUs are not made for that level of load. Does your PSU have a green label or gray label?

As for GPU, 1070Ti comes out soon and that's gonna be the best GPU option in that price range. Your 1060 is fine for 1080p 60 fps though.

K, definitely avoid any sort of overclocking at all and look towards buying a new PSU. Green label CX PSUs are terrible quality compared to the gray label ones, and they are horrible for any high load gaming rig.

In fact, buy a new PSU before you buy anything else. CXM (gray label) PSUs aren't horrible if you're really tight on budget, and certainly much better than the green label ones. Seriously, that PSU could end up damaging your components or even worse.
