I'm thinking of upgrading my pc with the parts; AMD Ryzen 5 1600, MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon, Socket-AM4 and Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8GB Pulse. Intended use is gaming, archicad and adobe programs.

My current components are a 500w PSU, AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-core processor, Sapphire AMD RadeonR9 200 ASUS M5A97 R2.0, Socket-AM3

However I need to know that everything is compatible with each other, if not I'd like some advice on parts to replace to make the PC better

1| You can drop down to a B350 chipset motherboard.
2| You forgot to mention the make and model of:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
PSU: (+how old is it?)
Chassis:
OS:

You will not be able to reuse your DDR3 ram on the new platform because it'll require DDR4 ram. Since you want to invest on Ryzen, you should look at a DDR4-3200MHz ram kits.

Where are you located and how much are you allocating to your upgrade/rebuild?
