So I Currently have a H61M-K motherboard which has a 1155 socket,
my current CPU is g2130 and I'm probably gonna upgrade it to i5 2500 which also supports 1155

But my question is, will my current cooler "e97379-001" be enough for my new cpu ?

Solution
If your CPU is a non-K (I'm assuming from what you wrote) it means there would be no overclock and stock coolers are usually enough.

Some of the stock coolers are for Core i3s with aluminum cores on the sink and some have a copper. If this is the one with aluminum core it doesn't have the best performance.

If you want something with less noise which looks a bit nicer than the stock one go for a third party cooler. Otherwise go with the one that has the copper core recommended for Core i5 CPUs.

If you check the specs then you'll see that the lighter e97379-001 is aluminum and the heavier e97378-001, designed for i5 and i7 processors, has a copper core. The OP shouldn't use the i3 cooler for an i5.
