hello, been awhile since ive been here, but I was just wondering if the core i7-8700k and below was compatible with windows 8.1 and aswell as the gtx 1080ti, I would assume so, but I have to confirm for my next build. Thank you !

No, you will need Windows 10 for 8xxx and 7xxx series Intel CPUs. The problem is not so much the CPU itself, but more the fact there is no chipset drivers for anything but Windows 10.
