Been playing GTA V with a few mods and suddenly it starts lagging - i turned off GTA V and then the monitor suddenly stopped working. I checked what was happening and then i noticed that all the ports that are from the mobo stopped working. Turned off the pc from the case power button and nothing happened the PC is still on just the ports are dead (it still lights up and all that).

Since all the ports are dead i cant get anything on the monitor, my main question here is what part should i replace to get the ports up and running?

What i remember - I had id say alot of programs running in the background

My specs
I5 7500
Gtx 1060 6gb
16gb ram
Asus b250 prime pro
Corsair cx550
Toshiba 1tb hdd
Windows 10

Unplug the PSU from the power.

Pull the graphics card out and hook up to the Onboard Graphics.

Remove the battery and let it sit for a few mins.

Put the battery back in.

Plug the PSU back in and see if it turns back on and you see graphics on the monitor.

Thanks, the thing is is it a good idea to remove the psu while pc is on?

Right now the pc is on and the power button is not working (anything thats plugged into the case is not working) so its the only way, but will it damage anything?

There is a swtich on the back of the PSU, turn it off.

Then unplug it.

Then follow the list:

Unplug the PSU from the power.

Pull the graphics card out and hook up to the Onboard Graphics.

Remove the battery and let it sit for a few mins.

Put the battery back in.

Plug the PSU back in and see if it turns back on and you see graphics on the monitor.
