Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if my hard drive was dead it's a Seagate Barracuda 2TB and it just stopped working one day and when I turn my pc on I hear a weird mechanical noise that's kinda hard to explain it's like the arm inside is moving then stopping abruptly and it does this once every second or two when booting and it doesn't show in board explorer in the bios or in Windows device manager. Is there any way to know if it is dead or is it like a power issue or something?
Small little edit I think I should add when I took the hard drive out and put it back again my pc took around a minute to boot into Windows instead of the normal 20 seconds or so
