Guys,
I have £500.00, tops to spend ( I can't afford the Vive but also don't have a spare room for it either). I've always wanted a usable VR experience but I could also do with upgrading my Mobo, CPU and RAM etc. I'm currently running an i7 4770K @4.4ghz 16Gb 1600Mhz and an MSi Z87-G45 gaming mobo. My GPU is a GTX 1080Ti FE. My benches says I should be able to run VR no problem which is what i expected. However if I buy the VR headset I don't know how long it will be before I can replace my ageing CPU, Mobo etc, possibly 3 years. What would you guys do. Put yourself in my position and let me know what you would do. By the way I love games obviously, and love to play maxxed at 1440p

Solution
I have the same setup (CPU/RAM/GPU), no issues with VR (Oculus Touch) or newer games and I expect it to last at least another year or two before even considering replacing it.
