Hello,

I recently installed replaced my MSI GTX 560 ti twin frozr II with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 (added a new PSU also as the old one didnt have enough wats) and new memory sticks as well ( same amout of GB).

Now my boot menu won't show, it starts with a black screen with a white underscore that then moves down a bit and windows starts booting. Sometimes i cant get past the black screen and i have to restart, then it works.

When i look at my system information some things are off.

I have added a screenshot so you can see. Please help :)

First, I'd put your old RAM in, just so you can verify you still have the problem with the previous RAM - I usually recommend changing only one component at a time so if you run into a problem, you can quickly see which change caused the difference in behavior. Especially in this case as you chose aggressively clocked RAM for a Sandy Bridge (Sandy Bridge's spec memory clock is 1333, which means you need to use an XMP profile, this is 2133 RAM).

Oh.. Yes i can see that changing 1 component at a time is more prudent. I will put in my old RAM and let you know what happens.

Oh no, I put the old RAM in and now it restarts every 5 seconds. Exactly as when i changed my GPU without having a strong enough PSU.
When i put the new RAM in, it keeps doing it.
I checked and everything is in place.
Would taking the cmos battery in and out as well as connecting the jbat pins to reset help?
