As a novice builder somewhat confused by all the various fan headers on my mobo.
Am I correct in assuming that ONLY the CPU_FAN header has PWM signal capability?

Or is each mobo different?

And what is the difference between the PUMP and CPU_OPT headers?

Solution
When it comes to fan headers its pretty simple and straight forward :)

3-PIN fan header = No PWM
4-PIN fan header = PWM

The PUMP header has an higher amp rating than CPU_OPT so you can run high current fans, AIO`s or an D5 / DDC pump from it.

The CPU_OPT also reads from the CPU temprature probe as default and whatever you have plugged into that one should / will make the fan / pump go up and down in RPM depending on the CPU temprature.
