RAM upgrade help needed

I have 8 GB (2x4GB) of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400Mhz ram in my computer and i was wondering if i could add two 8 GB sets of the same ram. My motherboard is dual channel as well as my CPU and both support up to 64 GB's of ram. Would it work and would i see negative results in performance? I do a lot of gaming with friends and normally host sessions for LAN, stream music, etc. Sorry if this is a dumb question but seeing as DDR4 ram is very expensive in my country, i don't want to go around wasting money :(

Maybe it will work and maybe not. Mixing up RAM, even same brand and model, can cause compatibility issues.
I will recommend selling your RAM and buy a 2x8 GB kit.
There is a reason they sell those in kits, they come from the same batch and have been tested to work together.
