Since Microsoft has stopped sending me updates I'm a little worried about security.
I have run Webroot anti virus for 4 years now with great success, and Superantispyware as a secondary level of protection.

I get a notice that my processor is no longer supported.

Unsupported hardware
Your PC uses a processor that is designed for the latest version of Windows. Because the processor is not supported together with the Windows version that you are currently using, your system will miss important security updates.

It's not safe, but this is why it's happening.

And I cannot say that I do or do not recommend you apply any of the information at the following link, but it IS relevant to your situation. I believe it's the lesser of two evils to unofficially patch windows in order to keep receiving critical and important updates, than it is to play by Microsoft's stupid, greedy rules.
