I currently have a Mac and just built my own computer. I was able to access BIOS and I made sure everything is working okay on that front, and I made a bootable USB with Windows 7 on my Mac using the Boot Camp Assistant and made sure in the BIOS that the USB was set to boot before my hard drive. I hit save and exit after moving the USB to the top of the list, but after the Motherboard logo screen goes away nothing happens and it just sits at a black screen. My motherboard is an AB350M.

Solution
AB350M Specifications list a single OS as supported:
OS- Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit

If you want to use Windows 7 you will have USB problems. You can do a search for installing Windows 7 on AM4 if you want to pursue that route.
