Computer wont start after shutdown

So i was gaming shadow of war great game btw but my pc shut down during the game. My 750 watt psu was very hot. After an hour of rest i started my pc again. But now it shuts down after the bios and on windows 10 starting screen and then is goes in a loop of starting itself and shutting down during the same screen. I dont really know what to do because i.m not an expert
So specs is
I5 2500k sandy bridge
750 watt psu crappy brand i think though
Amd r9 sapphire 280x
Not a great settup butt is already 3 a 4 years old

Yep, your PSU may be the prime suspect here, try to check what brand is it.
Secondly, your CPU may be overheating and you would like to check the temperatures. If you see temperature is an issue, try applying a fresh coat of thermal paste, mount the heatsink properly and check the fan is spinning fine. If not invest in an after market heatsink+fan. Good ones are available from Cooler Master and Antec.
If you find your PSU is not of good quality, try getting an 80+ certified PSU (550 watt-650 watt should be fine for your build). Good brands: Antec, Thermaltake, Seasonic, XFX and Corsair.
