I only have stock cooling so I know this would need to be upgraded but is my mobo even capable and what would the PSU need to be upgraded to?
I bought this setup in Dec 2014 so how much would it cost (in GBP) to upgrade the various components and what performance increase would I expect to see in games such as:
GTA V
The Witcher 3
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Dishonoured 2
Fallout 4
Metal Gear Solid V
Hitman
Watch Dogs 2
I'm hoping to ascertain whether there is any point in even persuing this financially or whether it would be better to sell up and buy a better rig with an Intel CPU. I don't mind playing games at an average 45 - 60fps if it means lowering the graphics options. I play in Full HD.
