Hi guys,
I am planning on assembling a new budget Gaming PC with major components as follows:
CPU Intel Core i3 8100,
GPU Nvidia GTX 1050 ti,
RAM 8GB.
It quite struck me that currently for the 8th generation of Intel CPUs only the more Z370 chipsets are available, so for the above build the motherboard will cost much more than the processor and even if I upgrade my CPU in future I have no plans on overclocking so even if I go for the Z370 board it would be overkill for me. So should I go for an older generation of core i5s for which the budget friendly motherboards are available or will there be entry level or mid range motherboards be available in future for the 8th gen CPUs ?
If yes then I have no problem on waiting and maybe I can save some more for the core i5 8400.

Solution
I heard that B360 (is what they're calling them now since AMD took B350) and the H chipset(s) are coming out around the new year. It might be worthwhile to look at an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or maybe Ryzen 5 1400 because they pack some decent power in around that price point.
