Hi, I was wondering if I should update my BIOS. In the description of the BIOS it says "only download if you are using Windows 8" because it's meant to add support for that version of Windows. Would I need the support of the previous Windows version? Like if someone was using Windows 7 before and then upgraded to 10, would that BIOS update be necessary since it would have needed to update support for Windows 8? I hope i'm making sense.

Only update the BIOS if you have some specific need to. It dosent really sound like you need to do a BIOS update at this time.
I would also assume you shouldnt need that one, considering it says Win8, not Win8 and newer.

In general you should only update the BIOS if you are experiencing issues. There is always a small risk involved with updating.
However I ignore my own advice and tend to keep my BIOS up to date anyway. Often updates are for stability and compatibility reasons and I tend to upgrade parts often so I figure I might be pre-empting future issues.

Yes any updates meant to be for windows 8 should also apply to windows 10.
