Hello

Just build new pc couples of weeks ago to replace my ancient Q6600.

MSI B350 Tomahawk
Ryzen 1700 Stock Cooler
MSI GTX1060 Gaming X 6GB
Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX PC24000 32GB
Samsung SSD 850 EVO M.2 SATA 500GB
Seagate 1TB SSHD 3.5"
Corsair CXM Series 650W Modular

I made several oc configuration on bios profile and each of them run with no problem since day 1, nothing too extreme. I load higher speed for game and the lower speed if I need to render to keep the heat low.

Today everything is not work anymore, pc wont load. When I push start button, all fans are spinning like usual, but no signal to monitor not even beep. After several second the vga fans stop spinning, but the leds still on. When first start, the CPU and DRAM leds on EZ Leds are turn on and and off right away, the other two leds not even turn on.

Please Help!!

Solution

Reset CMOS by turning off, placing jumper over CMOS reset pins for a couple minutes. I enabled the option in my MSI B350M Mortar to do automatic reset of CMOS on failed boot. It's very helpful when pushing overclock settings, and trying to find low voltages too, since it occasionally fails to boot.

You may be pushing memory or CPU overclock a tad too much and it needs tweaking up voltage or timing.

Also to try is DO NOT enable Windows10 WHQL mode. It has no real effect on Windows10 operation beyond early loading of certain drivers which is supposed to allow faster startup.
