Hey all. I bought a Drevo 71-key wireless mechanical keyboard and no matter how hard I tried I could never get it to work wirelessly on my desktop, windows 10. I have a Bluetooth 4.0 radio receiver that works fine with all my other devices, but when I tried pairing it to the keyboard it never worked. I kept getting an "incorrect passcode" error, but I never received a prompt to input a passcode. I tried everything under the sun to get it working but to no avail. Unfortunately, now, that's the least of my worries...
I was pretty fed up and eventually headed over to the Drevo website and found software upgrades for download there. I downloaded their software and proceeded to install it in hopes of correcting my pairing issue. After the upgrade was about 99% complete my keyboard just turned completely off while still plugged in via USB (which was the only way I could ever get it to work). Now, the keyboard is completely dead. My laptop, my girlfriend's desktop, nothing I plug it into makes it come back on. Sometimes about half the LEDs come on when plugged in but no functionality. I tried removing the drivers and reinstalling. I tried restoring Windows to a past restore point. But nothing works. The keyboard is now an expensive paperweight.
I assume some sort of internal software was corrupted?! I was pissed that I couldn't pair the thing and use it wirelessly, but now it's completely broken. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated! Can someone out there tell me what the heck is going on and if it can be fixed? Thanks.
