Hello all,

I'm currently looking at a Corsair RMX 850 and an EVGA G2 850. I usually buy EVGA PSUs but am considering a Corsair PSU for my new PC gaming build. I already know I am quite adamant about getting the Corsair Carbide 400C tower as my case and like that there is a nice shroud over the PSU inside. My concern though is the direction at which the PSUs fan will be facing. I do believe the EVGA PSU fans face down when installed and Corsair PSU fans face up when installed. Given that the tower I'm looking at, Corsair 400C, has a PSU shroud do you think that it would be best to go with the EVGA one instead since it faces down and would allow for better PSU air ventilation?

Thank you,

The PSU can be mounted either way, fan up or down, its up to you (you wont have any issues in that regard).
I would pick whichever is cheaper between the two units and go with it.
