Hi, I looked a lot in this and other forums, youtube and everything I found but I'm getting crazy.
I just got this build:

Phanteks Eclipse P400
Intel Core I7-7700K 4.2GHz BOX
MSI Z370 SLI PLUS
MSI CORE FROZR L
Corsair CS750M 750W 80 Plus Gold Modular
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 ARMOR OC 8GB GDDR5
G.Skill Ripjaws V Black DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 16GB
Sdd and Hdd

And it won't turn on. I checked
-Power switches from case
-Battery from motherboard
-Reseted CMOS
-All possible cables a lot of times
-I made the build like three times in case I was making any mistake

The problem is that when I press ON button, it just turn off in one second. Fans start running and PSU makes like "clack" and it turns off.

The only moment that it worked was outside the case. But inside, when I plug CPU Power from PSU cable it turns off by itself.
I also tried another PSU but It makes the same stuff, with 24pin works good but when I plug cpu power it can't be on more than a second.

Starting to think that motherboard isn't working properly. :(

Thanks a lot for helping and sorry for my bad english :wahoo:

The 7700K, which is a Kaby Lake, isnt compatible with an 8th gen / Coffee Lake mobo

And it isn't listed as a supported CPU

The only CPU's that are compatible are Coffee Lake CPU's

Thanks for the answer!
Cool, so I got a wrong mobo. Is there any way to try to make it compatible by bios or should I get another motherboard? (I was thinking on returning the i7 and getting a coffee lake but it's impossible to find one in stock) :/

You've got the wrong CPU. And nope a BIOS update wont fix it.

You cant install a Kaby Lake processor on a Coffee Lake mobo. Theyre not compatible with each other

No point keeping the I7, because it wont work on this motherboard.

You'll either have to return the I7. Or replace / return the motherboard and get a 7th gen motherboard.

If you want to use the I7
