I just picked up a Asus Z170-A and im facing an issue that seemingly gets more interesting. It initially started when i popped in my Kingston HyperX 2x4gb sticks into A2 & B2. I couldnt get any post. Solid red DRAM light. Tried the MemOk! Option several times to no avail. Then tested each stick in each slot. All worked but slots B1 & B2. On a side note, sometimes when i boot with one stick, i get presented with raid config, and or some other profile about overclocking. I have also taken out the cmos several times. Anyways, back to the ram... I booted into bios with one stick in A2, reset to defaults, navigated to ai tweaker, changed CPU core ratio from Sync All Cores to Auto... and now when i try to boot with both sticks in either slots a1 & b1, or a2 & b2, the CPU LED stays solid.

I did check for bent pins. Wont lie, there was a few. I was able to bend them back a little bit. RMAing is out of the question, returning where i got the mobo from is as well. Im bound and determined to get it to work. So the SOOL comments can keep at bay lol.

Any ideas? Not sure if the ram could be an issue, but I'm 99% positive they are both the same sticks from the same box.... But i could be wrong . Further testing will take place at work tomorrow, but any logical thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

*EDIT*

Also to note... when 1 stick is in either B1 or B2, i get a solid CPU LED light and constant boot loop. No option to get into bios.
