I was looking to upgrade the cpu and motherboard and I know ill have to get new ram too, I'm not trying to spend too much but I do want something quite a bit better that will last a while before the next upgrade. I was between the ryzen 5 1600x/ ryzen 7 1700/ i5 7600k /i7 7700k still not really sure if the extra ~50 bucks is worth paying to get an r7 or i7 or if the 1600x is better than the i5. What do you think is the best value here and what kind of ram/motherboard combo should I get with it?
Again I'm not trying to spend a whole lot but if it's worth it I will. Not really playing any demanding games either just things like pubg, supreme commander forged alliance(if anyone even knows what that is) and other possibly new games here and there.
