Hi, so today i started to have issues with one of my computers, computer decided to get stuck into a boot loop (tried reading a broken dvd drive and continue to do that indefinetly, never POSTED), fixed the loop by unplugging the drive, then i fired up the system again, computer was on but didnt POST until 1-2 minutes later (and a few reboots), then i turned the computer off again and started it, it didnt POST until 10-20 seconds later, which isnt what it usually does (normally it POSTS 2-3 seconds after the computer is turned on), and im started to get worried, is the mobo failing or is it the PSU that has finally given up on me?

TL;DR: Computer got stuck in boot loop, fixed it by unplugging the dvd drive, now the computer doesnt post until 10-20 seconds later, which is longer than usual, mobo or psu failure?

Extra info about the system:

Its has an Gigabyte EG41MF-US2H (socket-775) mobo alongside a Core 2 Duo E8400, 4gb's of RAM, 4 HDD's, 2 DVD drives (one is broken), an ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro, and an 10-11-year old 500w PSU.

Update: Computer is refusing to POST at the writing of this update, seems like it's trying to do something with the working dvd drive. Gonna unplug it.

Update 2: All DVD drives are now unplugged, now the computer refuses to POST, so i have no access to the computer.

Solution
Turn off the system, remove the CMOS cell, press and hold the power button for 30 sec, replace the cell and try. This will clear the CMOS and hopefully should get the PC running.
