In a budget sense, I'd go with the A320M build. While the motherboard is an Essential SFF board, that's just fine. It will support everything, and you get more mass storage, as 1TB these days is almost essential given the increasing file size of nearly everything.
 


For Ryzen build, A320 loses a major selling point : Overclocking. If on stock, even a G4560 can beat Ryzen 1200 and is 20% cheaper.

I don't think he intends to overclock given the components. Yes, they can, but if you're going to be that worried on overclocking, the R3 1200 isn't exactly a killer engine. And he's using a stock cooler, assumably. I agree with you on the G4560.
 


But many can OC to 3.8 G with stock cooler (Intel stock cooler just sucks), it is huge boost.
