Is there a season of the year where the components lower their prices? I'm looking foward to invest some money that is significant to me and I want to be sure that the time is correct or I should wait a little bit longer before buying the components because they will be in a lower price in the next weeks or months (before January)

Sorry if it's not the correct forum and thank you.

Personally, I don't ;ole the idea of piecemeal systems over the course of several months. You have no way of testing any components until you have them all together and if a part is faulty, you're probably well outside your RMA claim window and into your warranty window (usually takes longer).

Instead, I prefer to set a realistic budget for myself and then, when I have those funds saved up, purchase the best system I can afford at that time, regardless of component prices.

Well, not really.

Best thing and the smart thing to do is watch prices on the parts you want and get them when they do go on sale or rebates offered.

That Black Friday and other assorted garage is mostly companies unloading stuff that doesn't sell very well.

Yep, I normally set a budget like you do and then get the parts all within a month, but I know what I want parts wise before I even start looking.

I get the main base parts 1st, MB, RAM, CPU so I can test them to be sure they work.
