Hello all,

I've come in attempt to receive some assistance on what to do next. I have been formerly using the 385.28 drivers for my GTX 960 on Windows 7 when the other day I noticed that a new driver was released, the 388.00. I've never had any issues with any of nVidia products over the last 8 years or so, including dealing with drivers. When I went to install the latest drivers I received a failed install. Long story short of uninstalling, reinstalling, using DDU among other things, I was able to install the most recent driver that is 388.13 which was released yesterday. It was supposedly a complete custom install. My problem is that when I go to normal start the desktop, I receive a HDMI No Signal from my monitor when it gets me to my login screen (I can hear the normal start up sounds of the boot up and even logging in). After further investigating in safe mode, I discovered that my device manager is no longer showing any display adapters and that my GPU is coming up recognized as the GTX 960 which is accurate, however it is coming up as an unknown device.

I know these problems all stem from the hiccup of the initial driver install but I'm looking for any assistance that will potentially fix this issue and prevent me from having to do a full reinstall of Windows.

Thank you for your assistance in advance.
