Can't write to Micro SD Card :/

So all of a sudden this SanDisk ultra sdxc card stopped responding. I was downloading something and unexpectedly I got an error. Can't save to the Micro SD Card, Eject and Mount again. At this moment, I could not even see the contents of the card and thought it failed. ES file explorer says empty. I ejected and mouted it back again but still I can not write anything to it? Moreover, my camera stops as soon as I click a picture and obviously pictures are not being saved. Earlier i thought the storage could be reaching the Limit but No, it's 4-5 GB free. Not expected this from a SanDisk Ultra 128 GB, and it's not even that old. Six months perhaps. Luckily my data is not lost and so far I can access on my phone it but I just can't write? Can i fix this problem? Haven't yet tried formatting as I have some important data on it. Any help will be appreciated.

First thing, copy all of your data from it. Second, toss it and replace it or contact SanDisk to get it replaced if it's in warranty. Even if you can format it and get it working again, do you really want to be using a drive that has had issues already? If your parachute fails, it's better to just replace it rather than try fixing it and hoping it's better next time.
