Hello,

my spec are:
mobo - msi gaming 970
CPU - fx 8320
GPU - r7 250 1gb
RAM - kingston fury 2x4gb
PSU - cooler master 550w

This is my 2nd PC that I plug in to my 32inch tv. Its for playing game using controller when I want to play on couch and watch youtube on my lazy day. Everything work just fine. Its also for my friend who came to my house and want to use the 2nd PC to play online game together. Game that we usually play are dota , overwatch, csgo. Most of the game play in 1080. But I cant run PUBG on 1080. I already do some research bout the GPU and found the solution that single high end GPU better than crossfire/sli. So I would like to upgrade my GPU to the better as (can run PUBG in 1080 mid/low setting) what card would be the best for me to buy now as single GPU that also can support crossfire/sli so I can buy another same card next year to make it crossfire/sli.

(As I know this mobo works great with crossfire and I want to make it happen.)

the main objective is to make the PC look as badass as possible with 2 GPU mounted on the mobo. My budget around $200-$250 for 1 GPU

Thank you for your time and I would like to hear your opinion

Realistically.... while it might look good to you - performance-wise, SLI/CFx rarely makes any sense.

The only time it's worth considering (IMO) is on the upper end; when you've bought the best card available (1080TI) and running 4K, so you need more power.

A single, stronger GPU is always going to be preferred over dual card setups.

For the titles you play, I don't think it's overly worthwhile in all honesty.
CS:GO can benefit, Overwatch is a Blizzard title so there's decent support....... PUBG however is UE4, where there's no native support.

Add the fact you're looking to pair SLI/CFx with a 8320 and (I assume) 1080p, it's just a bad move IMO. The 8320 is going to hold back some stronger single cards, let alone SLI/CFx...

I'd suggest just opting for a 6GB 1060 and be done with it (OCing the 8320)

You can get a cheaper 6GB 1060, but those are smaller, single card designs.

If you're set on CFx or SLI, RX580's are the strongest cards remotely in budget - at least of the current gen.

4GB only though, you're looking at $280 for an 8GB variant.

SLI isn't supported below a 1070 on modern cards, and I don't see any value in going that strong with the balance of your hardware.

Either way, the 580's will be wasted paired with an 8320.

If you opt for CFx, you'll need to upgrade the PSU too - 580's are 185W cards.
185W x2 + 125W CPU + ~50W for the balance = an approx 550W total max draw.

A quality 650W unit would be an absolute minimum IMO - more likely a quality 750W.
