Hi Guys, I'm planning to build a VR capable Workstation/Gaming. Can you please help me with the components that I'm planning to use? I am a newbie in terms for computer and stuff. I just researched these parts in the net and test it in UserBenchmark.com

CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 1700
GPU : EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
RAM : G.SKILL F4-3000C15D-32GTZ TridentZ Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)
Mobo: ASUS Prime X370-Pro
SSD : Samsung 850PRO - 256GB
HDD : Seagate 2TB BarraCuda SATA 6Gb/s
CPU Cooling : Noctua NH-D15
PSU : EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1, 80+ BRONZE 750W, Semi Modular
Case: Phanteks Eclipse Series P400 Steel ATX Mid Tower Case

Please comment if my build is enough to run Navisworks, Civil 3D, Revit and to play games. I am also planning to overclock this unit.

You can also recommend best price/performance parts.

Thanks guys.

Solution
Comments:
1. Stock cooler comes with Ryzen is good enough, no need for extra cooler
2. For gaming, 1600 should suffice, but you can get 1700 if you want
3. For gaming only, 16gb is more than enough. Get 3200+ 2x8gb ram instead
4. 850 evo 500gb ssd may be better for you, no real speed diff
5. 650+ good quality PSU is recommended, not B1, Seasonic evo/focus point, or EVGA supernova G2/G3, Corsair TXM/RXM
6. Best X370 MB is Taichi and gaming pro carbon

That being said, I will go with 1600 + B350 MB for most bang for the buck, ASRock ab350 pro4/MSI PC MATE/MORTAR etc. And put extra money on a good gsync 2k or 4k monitor :)

Thank you for you reply vapour. But I have some follow up questions regarding your response:

1. Stock cooler comes with Ryzen is good enough, no need for extra cooler - "Is this good enough? I'm planning to OC this machine, and I forgot to mention that the purpose of this build is 75%Workstation / 25%Gaming"
3. For gaming only, 16gb is more than enough. Get 3200+ 2x8gb ram instead "Therefore 32GB is fine for since I'm planning to use this rig more on 3D Modelling"
6. Best X370 MB is Taichi and gaming pro carbon "which is better between this two in terms of hardware quality and which is more appropriate for Workstation build"

Thank you dude.
