I am getting an NZXT Kraken x62 cpu cooler, but I feel like the pre-applied thermal paste could be improved. I was wondering if applying my own and replacing the old would increase or decrease the temperatures, my guess is decrease but I wasn't sure if their application is best. Or is it even worth it? Will it cause any change at all? I just don't feel comfortable with pre applied paste I have never used it.
