Best SATA best SPEED (what do you recommend)

Hi

I have a Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H-CF and would like to upgrade by hard drive to a SATA.

Can someone tell me which once are compatible and which SATA would be the BEST to get for gaming and overall speed.

'SATA 6Gb/s' is commonly known as 'SATA III'.
Which is what the Samsung 850 EVO is, and all other recent 2.5" format SSD's.

What do you look out for to know if it's compatible?
It's quiet pricy for a $500mb.

What are your thoughts on the WD Black

$150 for 500GB is not "quite pricy".
The 850 EVO is the best general SATA III drive around. Reliability, speed, reputation.
Second best would be the Crucial MX300. 525GB for that same $150.

Go any cheaper, and you're looking at second rate drives. You did ask for "Best SATA best SPEED", correct?
