I am upgrading my desktop computer, a Lenovo H50-55 series computer with an AMD A10-7800 APU with integrated graphics, I currently am in a bad situation due to wanting to install an old AMD Sapphire HD 7870 Dual-X which i had lying around from an old PC my older brother had and we took apart and salvaged components from, I digress. But my concern lies within the new power supply unit i need to get to run this graphics card efficiently without needing a new psu if i decide to scrap this computer and build a new custom PC. I am debating on whether or not a Corsair CX450 Modular PSU would work with the GPU and with the other components in the computer, the graphics card and the psu are the only things that I will have modified in this computer. And if the CX450 modular doesnt work, will a Corsair CX500 non-modular work with the computer? Thank you for any replies! I am also looking into to EVGA 500w PSU, sorry for the multiple choices i have here, my main concerns are price and availability and the PSU fitting the GPU cables and fitting my case.

So will this PSU be compatible with my case and the GPU I have then? Because if so, I will definitely get this PSU.

Read my EDIT above about the power cable to your motherboard.

Yes, I believe that my motherboard is the 14-Pin connector instead of a standard 24, but other than this everything else related to specs and such will be fine correct? Sorry for the concern from me, I am currently not at home and need to get this PSU ASAP, as well as any adapters that I will need for this.
