I was planning on getting new RAM altogether and replacing the old ram, however I had a thought. Would it be possible to mix the current DDR4 8GB RAM sticks in my PC with 2 more 8GB Ram sticks and come out with 24GB?
What's the likelihood of success? If it fails can I simply remove the old ones and install the new RAM sticks without any problems?
