Upgrading motherboard and installing OS?

Currently own an intel i5 6600k cpu and using a MSI B150 PC Mate as my current board. This was an early build and I am planning to upgrade ONLY my motherboard to a MSI z270 board to take advantage of overclocking capabilities. All files are stored on a 1TB HDD. Will I have to do a clean install of Windows 10 onto the new mobo? I'm not to sure what steps I should take next. Thanks!

Yea seems like that's the route i'm going to have to take. I'm a noob at things so it'll probably take a good amount of research lol. Thanks again.
