Please Help With My Pc Build

CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4 CPU Cooler is good for your rig but if you ever want to overclock your CPU then you will need a good cooler for overclocking, T4 is good for $75

Deepcool Tesseract Black/Blue PC case is a cool looking budget friendly case for budget builds and it provides excellent features for a budget case, However i will not recommend it for such a high-end rig because a GTX 1080 produces lot of heat during intensive gaming hours, and the airflow for overclocking your CPU and to release the heat produced by GPU and CPU has to be good but tesseract doesn't do the job when it comes to cooling also tesseract is made of cheap plastic casing, you can't rely on it for a long time. so you better look for another budget case for your build, it's easy to find many great cases in this price range, Corsair SPEC line of pc cases is ideal for bugdet builders, it's inexpensive, looks great, has ton of features, and takes good care of your rig. if you do switch the case, then you won't regret it.


G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-2400C15D-16GVR 16GB (2x8GB) 2400MHz DDR4: One of the best ram in PC market for gaming, it has 2400MHz clock speed. and dual-channel 16GB of Ram which is ideal for a modern gaming PC. If they are cheap in australia then go for it. otherwise Corsair's VENGEANCE Ram sticks are one of the best memory modules for gaming, and ofcourse they are far more powerful and efficient when compared to G.Skill. If Corsair's Ram is cheaper than G.Skill's then just go for corsair.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming: No suggestions! a 1080 is ideal for modern gaming, it's not "very-expensive" and it can handle every game in 4k 60+ FPS. It's ideal for your PC

Intel core i5-7600: Core i5-7600 is a very good cpu but unless you don't plan to go for a 8'th generation coffee lake CPU
(which will also need a new ram+motherboard combo). but as your motherboard doesn't support overclocking you should not invest in a overclockable "K" series cpu. (for overclocking you will need to buy i5-7600K with a Z270 motherboard), CPU is great for gaming, school work.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H270-HD3 is a good mobo for the price it has many new features, supports Intel optane memory chips as well as ssd's. worth the money!

As you know i didn't mentioned the storage because there's nothing to say about the storage a SSD+HDD combo combines speed+storage within a acceptable budgets. both SSD+HDD are good and from reputated brands. however if you ever need to upgrade, you will still have a lot of options for upgrading for space and speed. this is a great
rig for both of your needs (schoolwork and gaming) it will hold up for several years to come whether it's gaming or professional stuff like video editing. Build this rig you won't regret it!
