Six years ago y'all helped me build my first computer. I'm looking to do it again and would welcome any advice on my first attempt at picking parts for a new system. I use my computer for general use and don't play any big games, but would like the option. I'd like to keep the cost under $1000.

Question: Is it worth the extra for an SSD? Anything else I should add?

Thank you in advance!

Reasons:

> Motherboard is better for overclocking and a few added features... https://us.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/400375-386379

> Ryzen shines with faster RAM, specially GSkill units... https://www.toptengamer.com/best-ram-amd-ryzen-5-7-cpu/

> SSD gives you massive gain in terms of performance in terms of read/write and sequential speeds. In 2017 you dont build a pc without a SSD.

> The case is a overkill compared to the rest of the setup. Unless you want it specifically, that money can be better spent elsewhere. The case included is very good at its price point.

> A 750w PSU is way overkill for that setup. Your setup will have a max power draw of 350w to 400w with that setup.

> You can purchase a Windows key later down the line and activate Windows or get it upfront if you want. Wont give you any massive performance difference... https://www.howtogeek.com/244678/you-dont-need-a-product-key-to-install-and-use-windows-10/
