Mixing ram almost identical

So that I don't have to spend $200 on an entire new set just to get 16GB since I already have 8GB ....

If I have 2 different Ripjaws V where every single thing is the exact same except for one thing. Timing on one is 15-15-15-35 and the other is 15-16-16-35.

Since they are both 35 would it be bad to mix them? Or would those two 16s be bad?

DDR4 2800 (PC4 22400)
Timing 15-15-15-35
CAS Latency 15
Voltage 1.25V

and

DDR4 2800 (PC4 22400)
Timing 15-16-16-35
CAS Latency 15
Voltage 1.25V

Solution
As stated, it may or may not work. Even the exact same make and model RAM bought separately can have problems, it is why RAM is sold in matched kits that are guaranteed for the sticks to work with each other.

People giving advice here will almost always tell you not to mix up RAM... But in reality... RAM is fairy resilient and most people who mix them up never have any problems.

And in response to the oft asked question: "Will it work?", that is still a solid...'maybe'. Just like the other responses here.

There is no 100% either way.

I've tried and had problems with exactly the same DDR3 kits. Very unstable system that would only boot if I slackened timing, over volted and under clocked and even then it wasn't 100% stable.
