Z370 ram compatiblity

I bought Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3000mhz memories but they kind of decided to not send the mother board i wanted: Asus Ranger VIII 170. So i got mad and bought the Asus Strix Gaming E Z370, diff proc, the I5-8400 Coffee Lake. My question is, are the rams compatible with the new mother board?

Yes it supports that memory but you will need to enable the correct XMP profile in the BIOS prior to booting the system into windows if you want it to run at that speed. It is absolutely compatible though. That board supports up to DDR4 4000mhz
