Hello I've been having this problem for a week now where my pc just crashes to a solid color screen (orange pick green gray

I've reinstalled windows twice made sure all my drivers were up to date and even reinstall drivers a few times

I've done furmark test on graphics card with no problems
I've done memtest68 tests with no errors
Taken it to a repair shop where they said they couldn't find anything wrong
and I've done burn in tests to the cpu with no problems

the crashes happen when i'm on the pc just clicking around or watching something on twitch which even then it doesn't happen all the time and i've been able to play league of legends games with out crashes

the only thing i'm left is to ask here

System specs
CPU Intel i7-4790

RAM 6.00 GB

Graphics card AMD R9280 x (6gb) (MSI factory overclocked)

Motherboard - MSI H81M-P33

power supply Titan T850W

not sure why this has started happening now when I've had no problems or signs of problems for 3 years now

Solution
another gpu is fine -> most of your system is good.
2 possibilities: 1. Your GPU is breaking down, but you said your bench shows gpu is working fine, try cinebench as well
2. PSU is breaking down, still produce sufficient for your friend's gpu but not yours.

Just died again at this point I think I can safely say its a psu is there any you would recommend

gpu tdp is 250, cpu 84, rest is 50, 20% headroom -> 500+ good quality will serve you well.
Budget choices: Corsair CX550M, Seasonic 550 evo/ 520 s12II/ 520 m12II, you can go 100 higher if you like for the 520 ones. Let me know what you can find as well if above not available.
