lost my cpu disk drive

i had to do a clean install of windows 8.1 on my pc but i lost my disk drive for my cpu and couldn't find the drivers on the intel website websites

My CPU: Intel i7-4790k @ 4.00Ghz

What exactly is "disk drive for cpu"?
DVD device? DVD disk?

Generally you have to install:
  • chipset drivers for your motherboard;
    lan driver;
    audio driver;
    gpu driver.
First 3 - you download from motherboard manufacturer site.
GPU driver you download from gpu manufacturer web site (amd or nvidia).

oh i meant the disk you get with the cpu, not sure exactly what thats called. thanks for the help

Then I have to ask - what do you call "cpu"? Because cpus don't come bundled with any disks.

i know what a cpu is but i guess i forgot they don't come with i disk, i feel kinda stupid now...
