Picked up this lil ASUS P5QC (rev 2.02G) <> for 99c (faulty)
Doesn't seem to be a physical dmg to the board or anything!
But...RAM slots are beyond <>, cuz I have no idea what the issue may be!
How I tested it:
- made sure they're not dusty
- random RAM sticks
- random CPUs (y'know, for safety)
- some low watt GPU (for no reason)
- tried different combinations of sticks n slots
Not calling it dead, cuz it actually turns on...BUT
I get no image, nor I know slots are the messed up!
No beeper screamin, void!
...help?
LAST SECOND UPDATE: it beeps now! fast 1 beep - 2 beep
[ One continuous beep followed by two short beeps then a pause (repeated)
No memory detected ]
but then, why wouldn't it just boot to BIOS at least...make sense cuz sticks are 100% functional
