Trying to buy a Laptop

I was buying a Asus Laptop but i came across a specification that said " NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050TI , with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM
Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 "
Which I now a little confused about . Is the Nvidia Card Giving the 4 GB or the memory so called 4 GB is not what i think it is .

The 1050TI has 4GB VRAM. VRAM is the dedicated memory (DDR5) available exclusively to the GPU.

That laptop has both integrated GPU on the CPU, and the dedicated GPU (1050TI). It'll switch between the two, depending on the demands placed on the laptop.

At idle, viewing the desktop, it should use the iGPU - and if you fire up a game or something, the 1050TI should take over.

There are 4g of ram for the sole use of the 1050TI. The integrated 630 graphics are used when the 1050ti is not needed to conserve battery life. You may also be able to manually switch between the two or automatically in the event that the battery is low or switching depending on the plugged in status.

The Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 is on the same piece of silicon as the Intel Core i7-7700HQ Processor. The memory used by the Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 is reserved from the 8GB of SDRAM it shares with the CPU.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050TI with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM is a separate discrete chip with its own dedicated GDDR5 memory that isn't shared with anything else.
