Hello everyone,

Around a month ago I built my own pc (all new parts) and have been playing games fine without any problem but recently when I boot up certain games my monitor disconnects and the fan starts going really loud and fast! I'm a bit of a technical noob and can't find anything anywhere that's helpful.

Any comments/ guidance would be much appreciated!

I'll try and list my components, if you need any further info I'll try and find it!

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Quad-Core
RAM - 2x8GB Corsair
Motherboard - MSI B350M GAMING PRO Socket AM4 AMD Ryzen 7th Gen Athlon DDR4 USB 3.1 Micro ATX Motherboard
PSU - Corsair CP-9020122-UK CX Series 650 W CX650 ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze 650W Power Supply Unit
I also have SSD and HDD.
Windows 10 OS

Thank you.

Can you list some of those -certain- games?

Are you running on a stable, updated driver version? a lot of games are know to have issues on specific driver releases / GPUs.

Have you tried removing drivers using DDU? (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html)

Last, try to monitor temperatures and redo any tweaking (if you've done so) via software (MSI Afterburner, etc)

Thanks for responding,

Games include: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordon, Battlefield 1, Battlerite (fairly low spec game).

I don't think it's to do with a specific game as it crashes from pretty much all games.

I'll try this DDU thing and let you know if it makes any difference.

Also I downloaded afterburner but am unsure what to do with it. It says my temperature is 27 degrees C whilst not playing a game.

Edit: DDU thingy didn't work

Thanks
