how to add pictures to ask a question

sorry for this stupid question but how am I supposed to add a screen shot or photo from my computer onto the question

Here's how I do it:

Create the Image and save to my computer.
Open Windows Explorer to the location on my computer where the image is saved.
Open a browser window and navigate to http://imgur.com
At the top of the page, click on the green "New Port" button.
Where is says Browse or Drag Items Here, I grab the image (Click and hold) from Windows Explorer and drag it over to the drop box (release the mouse button).
I then right-click on the image and select "View Image". This puts the direct link to the image in the browser address bar.
Copy the Direct Link to the image from the browser address bar.
In a reply to a thread, I paste the Direct Link between the image tags like so:

and the image...
