Can't allocate more than 512mb RAM to integrated graphics and it wont register even 512mb. (i5-4670k)

So I'm trying to allocate the max 2gb out of my 16gb ram to my Intel HD Graphics 4600 and in the bios it's only letting me allocate up to 512mg and then when a game or piece of software tells me how much VRAM it's using it only says around 100-200 instead. Although I can play league of legends on max at 1360x768 at around 120fps so I am really confused and would love some help
