Best am3 processor

I recently found an am3 mother board. The mobo will support processors higher than 95w tdp. Was just curious what the best am3 processor is. Should be noted this is for the fun of bench marking. I don't want to get Intel or a newer socket I already have a high end system

HOWEVER not every board will run it. What do you mean that the board will support processors higher than 95w, because only a few boards specifically supported 140w which is what you need for the 1100T. Otherwise the board is 95 or 125 w. What board is it, specifically? You'll need to look it up on the board's compatibility list to be sure

I was not aware there was a 140 watt tdp that's insane to me. My board does support 125 though

I forgot. The board is a biostar TA790GXB3 version 6

The various AMD Phenom II X4 Blacks (955, 965, etc.) are the best CPUs you can run on this motherboard, but if you buy a 965, make sure it's not one of the 140W ones.
