If I was your employer would I trust you to setup the wifi in my network...especially when you need to come to a forum and ask something that is pretty simple.

Almost all companies have rules against this and configure things to prevent it. It can be done correctly and securely but way to many people just take the easy way out and just make it work ignoring any security exposure. Wifi security is actually fairly hard in a corporate environment even when you know what you are doing. It is easy for a company to secure its building physically but wifi means the guy sitting in his car on a public road and attempt to break in.

Are you trying to do this at work/school? If so, you need to speak with the local administrators about allowable uses of their systems.

Have you looked into Internet Connection Sharing, otherwise? Keep in mind, your permission levels will affect this, even if allowed on your network.

Talk to the admins first before doing anything (and possibly getting into trouble).
